Fun route to an anti- climactic summit  Sucess!

Lots of scrambling, and only roped up for the one pitch at the end. I'd call it a 5.7 but was happy to have my rock shoes for it.

Don't forget to walk the summit plateau across to the north end where the highest point is!

West Temple  Sucess!

I don't see how this is rated 5.8, more of a difficult scramble by Canadian Rockies standards. Not sure if this really is the official rating, just what I picked up in Climbing Magazine (Feb 2007). If you are never going to climb pitch after pitch of 5.11+ trad, this is your only other option to reach the summit of West Temple. Fine day with Carsten. This coming weekend will be our third in a row. Nice, fast and strong, I appreciate that. Uneventful climb, but fun to tic off the list.
