w/ Uncomp.  Sucess!

Did the double peak day. I saw very few people. The different colors of the soil and the expansive area above treeline were really cool. There are some sweet looking rock outcroppings that looked like great challenges to the north.

Wetterhorn/Matterhorn/Uncompahgre  Sucess!

What a great mountain in an awesome valley. I started at the Matterhorn Creek TH and had great weather on this threesome. Made the summit of Wetterhorn in 1:40 with a ctc for all three in 7:50.

I'll definately return to do this one again.

Second Summit with Dad  Sucess!

Great fun climb. Me and my old man dad dropped the young guns like a rock. Say hello to Nick from Nashville/Crested Butte.

One of my top 3 favorites!  Sucess!

This seemed like one of the FASTEST 14er summits I've done! At #40, I compare the fun scrambling to the likes of the Crestones. We summited at 6:30am (my earliest summit). It was amazingly beautiful!!! ...we made it a duo day and hiked the L-O-N-G slog over to Uncompahgre as well!

Great Climb  Sucess!

One of my favorite 14ers. View from the summit is amazing. Route can be kind of hard to find.

S.R. from Matterhorn Creek TH

Awesome climb, perfect weather! Drove straight from Denver after last-call at the bar for 1.5 day excursion, so unfortunately we didn't make it up Uncompahgre. Started below 10K due to vehicle limitations, so it was a really long day. I don't recommend this climb after last-call, LOL.

Over nighter  Sucess!

Fantastic overnight at the base of the Wetterhorn. Made summit bright and early. Checked our watches and decided to do the traverse over to the Matterhorn for a dual summit afternoon. Beautiful day.
