Can you climb Wheeler from this side?

I know the normal way to climb Wheeler Peak is from the less steep side. Can you climb it from this side?

It seems like it is pretty high up, but it would probably make an interesting challenge. Are there no routes from this side of the mountain?

I am not sure about access issues, but it shouldn't be a challenge technically. Elevation gain from this side would probably be about 6,000 feet. There aren't many roads in this part of Nevada, but if you have 4WD you should be able to find an old miner's trail and get close to the mountain anyway. From there it should be a straight shot up the mountain.
