When you reach the railroad bed, look right and you'll see this sign. GPS location: 38.85054N, 104.93984W. Cross the track, scramble up the slope south of the track, and find the Magog Trail. (Photo taken 07/24/2004).

I have to agree with Aaron. Beta pictures like this, while not showing anything 'mountainous' are a must to correctly guide would-be hikers.
