Wild Horses on Cedar Peak

Wild Horses on Cedar Peak

Thanks to Mike Christensen for letting me use this pic he took on 11-30-08 when he visited Cedar Peak. This is one of the premier areas in Utah for viewing wild horses.

Wild beauty

I'm in awe of the beauty of these wild animals that are found in many places in the western Utah desert (as well as many parts of Nevada).
Mike Christensen had the ability to capture the feel of freedom that these horses enjoy.

Wild horses couldn't drag me away -
Wild, wild horses; we'll ride them someday.

Re: Wild beauty

Probably the only song I really liked by The Rolling Stones,
but haven't heard it in many years.
Thanks for puting it back in my head Larry.

Re: Wild beauty

Dean's friend acted as the "catalyst" for
putting those horses back into your head.

Geez, Dean has a lot of friends, and I truly
hope I'm one of them!

Re: Wild beauty

Dean claims that I'm the one who put the idea for the album in his head. But, I never thought it would grow to the size of NY city. He sure does have a long list. It should come in handy when he needs an extra pair of hands doing heavy home projects.

Re: Wild beauty

Yes, that extra pair of hands would be "handy"
for just about anything. It's just so
unbelievable and wonderful that Dean is able
to do the things that he does. (What an
inspiration for anybody at any time of the year!) Please don't let that list grow shorter, Dean!!!

Re: Wild beauty

Both you guys are on my friends list, for sure. Larry, I'm sorry Dennis and I missed you when we were in Payson back in April. There will have to be a next time. Thanks for your comments, you are definitely one of the guys who makes SP a fun place.

Re: Wild beauty

Sounds great, but I no longer reside in the
fine western community of Payson. My wife and
I packed up our belongings, and moved 75 miles northwest of Payson, to the more progressive community of Cottonwood. (Now, we're only 15 miles from Sedona, and only 50 miles from the snow-capped San Francisco Peaks.)

Have you completed your Yavapai County highpoints???

this picture....

This picture represents a lot in me. I horseback ride and my pets name is cedar. It is a great picture! I love to see animals free and running wild.

Re: this picture....

Thanks for your comments wiktoria. Someday you'll have to get to Utah and see these horses that roam freely, they are an amazing sight.
