Wildhorse Arete

Wildhorse Arete

The true summit of Howard peak rises a few feet above the north summit. This photo, shot at dusk, gives you an indication of what you’re in for if your climbing the Wildhorse Arete.

Re: beautiful

Thanks Again! Sometimes It's not about the climb, this was about a panorama of the peaks guarding the wildhorse basin. I got the shot but it's too big and long to display on SP.

Another Good Match

Hope you don't mind my asking: Why's your tent so tall? To match the rock towers, I guess:-) No trouble in high winds, tested in NASA's labs?

Re: Another Good Match

It's bomb proof in the wind and I can hang my stove from the apex, but I hade it made extra tall for the occasional round of Badmitten on rainy days. : )

Re: Another Good Match

Right, this is just about the height of the net. I was quite good at bdmtn, won a couple of school competitions. Hope we can have a game one day, if possible at this gym in the picture pleeease!
