Wildlife on the cliffs

Look for Bighorn Sheep up on the cliffs while in Gunsight Notch Canyon. We saw this pair, a Ram and an Ewe. One little Lamb was nearby down in the canyon and later rejoined the pair. This is not a great wildlife shot by my standards, but I wanted to add it to Gunsight Notch Peak page as Red Rock Bighorns like the whole Pine Creek area a lot in spring and there is a high chance to see them on this hike. great catch!

looks esp. cool with the varnished (smooth looking) sandstone they're on.

Thanks. Notice how comfortable the ram is on the ledge. It was a long drop below him. The lamb refused to follow mom and went up on the other side to join them both.
It's always such a treat to watch these animals.
