Warwick eh? I lived near there for a while. Little town called Stockton about halfway between there and Rugby. Warwick Castle is worth a look if yer in that area agin.
Hi Mate. Yep, it was better weather than we enjoyed on Snowdon. Three superb days. Warwick was great, but sadly we didn't have time to visit the castle. Lolli had a flight to catch. Next time maybe..........
Sounds good to me. We just need to organise a baby sitter for his cat :)
BTW airfares to NZ are sooo cheap at the moment. Got tickets on Air New Zealand this time for $370 return. That's cheaper than the El Cheapo airlines!!
They are only small mountains, but I find a lot of them are harder to get up than Bavarian peaks twice the height. A lovely walking area, and there is plenty there to keep climbers very happy!
Sounds like you both had a great adventure. I can't think of anything better than spending time hiking and enjoying the mountains, and it's even better with a friend. I'm happy for both of you!
