Something Should Be Done About This Place!!!
After experiencing gorgeous weather and a nice drive, this State "Highpoint" was a letdown. Talk about LAME!!! The highpoint marker would be nicer if it were on some sort of fancy marker/ monument, rather than only a USGS marker on a small cylindrical piece of stone.

Quick stop
Drove over from Huntsville to see the area. It used to be hard to find the right road.

Tha South!!
I took the indirect route from my winter job in South Dakota back to my temporary Kentucky home. Northern Mississippi wasn't so bad.

Rest Stop
Drove up and had a nice little rest stop on a long trip. Nothing spectacular, but clean at least. Highpoint #9 :)

Nice radio towers...

Number 2!
DRove up and took some pics, out of all the highpoints I've been to, this is by far the lamest. Got some good BBQ on the drive home though!

Sad Place
A dump as advertised. Saw some pictures here that I thought the place would be well kept. Not the case anymore. Just trash all around. Plus some jerk was up there blasting country music from her car, and smoking cigarettes. This would probably be a nice mountain if it was bald on the summit. Mississippi sucks.
I can't believe this has its own page! I drove by here as a distraction on the way to Tishomingo to rock climb. Can you believe there is rock to climb in MS?
