Steel Cliff / Wy'East
This was a fun but very long route, especially given the conditions and the amount of deep snow breaking trail we did. We ended up soloing the cliffs since the snow and ice conditions were decent.

Wy'East, back in the day.
Watch a video of a 2016 winter climb of the route. Brought back memories to and old man who climbed with one 31" ice axe, and Grivel hinged crampons, and no gloves, anchors or hardhats. Cliffs were all ice as the spring weather had melted most of the top snow. Those chutes were the real deal back then. Got back to Timberline lodge around 10PM. Great day.
