Xixa seen from the plains of...

Xixa seen from the plains of Siling. All the upper parts of the normal route can be clearly seen. Small herdes of Tibetan Gazelles can be seen in front. When you see these animals relatively close to civilization, it's a sign it's a tough winter.

A wonderful place. Especially late in the season when you have the whole place for yourself, only sharing it with some nomads and animals.

Even if Xixa is regarded as one of the "easy" 8000ers, anything over 8000m is very demanding,
