Fun little peak
I was thinking of climbing Naches Peak, but I got to Chinook Pass earlier than I expected and didn't want to deal with the hordes of people on the Naches loop trail. So to kill some time before a quieter evening loop, I went up Yakima instead (via the north gully), and it was pretty fun. The scree in the upper part of the gully was a little sketchy, but I stayed near the solid rock on the climber's right and had no problems.

I am glad I climbed it in snow! I don't is it would have interested me without snow.
