Thanks Senad. The Cordillera Blanca is a beautiful range to visit, both for the climbing experience and for the scenery.

The Peak Monster strikes again!

Great pictures and a great looking place! If I could take 4 weeks off to go to the Andes in summer, I think this area would be where I'd go. It is beautiful and some nice climbing too.

Good plan, but unless you want to have a go at hard routes, I think that, once you're acclimatized, you'll need only a long week. That's enough to climb Pisco, Yanapaccha and Chopicalqui.

A bit harder, but, if conditions are right, still possible for mere mortals, are some routes on Huandoy. I'd like to try that next time I'm there.

And then there are the very difficult and extreme routes on the north, northeast or east side of Huascaran, or on Chacraraju, to name just a few.
