The sharp pyramid is Kościelec at 2155m (just left of it is Zadni Kościelec while to the right is Świnica) and the low, long, well-lit ridge is Mały (Little) Kościelec, which reaches 1863m. The photo was taken from the trail to Krzyżne Pass, less than a half-hour walk past the Murowaniec Hut on Hala Gąsienicowa. The blockfield in the foreground is formed of blocks of quartzite.
