You can see why they're called "The Bubbles". Taken from a good vantage point along Jordan Pond. I took this shot on my first trip to Acadia almost nineteen years ago.

They're kind of dwarved by much higher peaks on both sides, but they're so distinctive one can't help but find a spot to take photographs. I must have twenty photos that I took of those little mountains on my first visit to the park. But this one is the best of the batch.
