Yucca Flower Tower to Great Escape, 5.10c
With Danny from Santa Fe. Great 4-5 day trip. Great Escape is the goods. Yucca Flower Tower is worth doing, but the Great Escape finish is a much better crack system, offering more sustained climbing. On the first pitch, stemming through the bulge is the crux of the Yucca Flower Tower route. The 2nd-3rd pitches make sense to combine. The start of the 2nd pitch offers a cool finger splinter, but the climbing eases off after that for the remainder of the route.
