Zapata Falls

Zapata Falls

This is the view you get of Zapata Falls in the winter as you walk through the slot-like opening. The actual Zapata Falls is the line at the back of the slot (on the right side of the picture). The ice on the left side comes from a series of seeps in the porous rock. The main falls are about 40 feet high (WI2/2+), the falls on the left are about 30 feet high and are a little steeper (WI3).
