Thanks! Luckily it was barely below freezing, or this wind would have spelled real trouble for us. I didn't even have my hat by this point, a gust threw it over the cliffs never to be seen again ... and I was seriously contemplating cracking open the handwarmers! Sure there was its share of chuckles about "summer season" on the trip LOL.

I don't like 100 degrees but the desert is too beautiful to avoid it alltogether. Up in the Uintas, dunno about thunder, but oughtta be plenty of mushrooms ... and skeeters
