Zerfreilahorn

Zerfreilahorn

Catho looking for the best approach to the striking Zerfreilahorn. It suddenly rises high above the green grass. We climbed the NE-Ridge (direct), wich was a very nice climb. Lepontine Alps - July 2009

Re: What a beauty!

Thanks Sebastian! Untill this summer I wasn't aware of this beautiful mountain, but as soon as I saw it in Plaisir OST I was convinced. I can recommend the climb, it isn't as busy as lot's of other climbs.

Cheers, Jurgen

Re: on

There both beautiful mountains. Only this one is a bit lower and has no snow on it.

Very Nice

Looks similar to Lizard Head in SW Colorado near my home.

Thanks Rob. This Lizard Head also looks quite amazing. I love these pointing mountains.

Re: Wow!

Thanks Tomek. It is indeed a beautiful summit. The Valser valley is really worth visiting.

Cheers from Holland!

Nice

A striking pillar indeed. Looks like a pleasant approach during the summer months too.

Re: Nice

You're right. The approach is really pleasant. Actually, you can hike around the mountain too.
