Zigadenus and Myosotis

These seemingly strangely named lakes are named after two species of alpine flowers. Together they are known simply as Skoki Lakes. The larger surrounding area is known as the Skoki area of Lake Louise. Photographed on the summit of Ptarmigan Peak (3077 meters), September 10, 2011.

OMFG...

Those are so blue! They put Blanca Lake to shame. Looks like a fun peak to stand on

It most certainly is! Perhaps we could do this one again when I return to the area. I'd really like to get Richardson and Ptarmigan too while in the area. Perhaps we should spend 2 days and get Redoubt while we're at it.
