Failed big wall climb because dumb ass fell. Damn beautiful park!
Angel's Landing, Emerald Pools, and the streamside trail. Nothing crazy, and lots more left for next time. Glad we camped out and got on the first shuttle of the day. Came back to the visitor center around 1pm and it was a frickin zoo
Narrows Top Down, Most of the Hikes in Zion Canyon, Kolob Arch.
Did most of the little hikes around Zion Canyon the first time we visited (Temple of Sinawava, Emerald Pools, Angels Landing, East Canyon Overlook), but still need to go back and explore farther up the Narrows. Kolob is nice as well, although we haven't done much hiking there yet.
We camped a couple of nights, and hit the popular items the first two days. Angels Landing, Mt Carmel hwy and tunnel, emerald pools, and hike to the narrows. The third day we went canyoneering and had a great time. So much to do in the place, can't wait to get back!
Hiked the Narrows, climbed Angels Landing, and visited Kolob Arch. Glad the NPS restricts vehicular traffic during the summer months. Nice seeing wildlife along the road.
Beautiful place that I've visited many times. Subway, Narrows, Angels Landing, and Kolob Arch are all very memorable!
Great place to visit. To get a complete experience, going up to a summit will do this place justice.
....aren't enough! explored the subway and hiked angel's landing. i'll be back.
This park is amazing place, 3-4 day is not enough to see everything but i will go back again for more fun.
Visited Zion just for a day. I think I can hike and climb here for months, so I have to go back someday!
nice place to visit for hiking and climbing.
Luckily I've managed to avoid the shuttle hassle both trips there.
As a kid, hiked here with the family, and climbed Angels Landing, as well as seeing many of the park's other attractions. I must get back here one day soon! Zion is an awesome place!
Didn't touch any of the steel. Only natural holds
East Rim. West Rim. Swimming.
Backpacked the West Rim with friend Dave, his son and daughter-in-law from Lava Point to the Grotto.
I drove through Zion on the last leg of a 2400 mile trip to retrieve a car from Tennessee and when I got home to Boise I immediately packed up, turned around and went back and stayed for a week. I have been back several times now and I will never get enough of this beautiful place. The "off" seasons like early spring, fall and winter are my favorite times to visit.
Beat the Memorial Day crowds and hit ALL of the tourist trails along the shuttle bus route. Interesting place, but left the Narrows, West Rim Trail and the whole backcountry unexplored for my next trip.
Great area.. So great
roadtrip 2013. 4 peaks and 70 miles. Nice vacation.
