This is looking towards the Zugspitze, the tallest mountain in Germany.

It means 'peak' in German. Most of the peaks then have a pre-fix to make a whole word, like the Zugspitze or the Alpspitze. 'Zug' in this case means train. Sometimes the literal translation doesn't work out, but this one makes fairly good sense.
