Photo! Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Afzal
Thanks Afzal. It was a great view indeed. Cheers, Guido
and one of the few postings from Germany!
It's often Switzerland, Poland, Austria and Hungary that seem to grab the viewer's attention. Not that
it's right or wrong, mind you.
I'm going to quit before I start an international incident!!!
(Congrats again, Guido!)

Thank you very much. You're right, there are in fact only few photos from the German Alps or other areas in Germany. But that's ok. There are beautiful places everywhere. Our passion for the outdoors and mountains should have no borders whatsoever. Mountain ranges certainly don't care about them. Cheers, Guido
what a great picture of our highest mountain !!! and taken by a socal-hiker !!! great
next year i will go hiking there instead of california..all the best eike
thanks. I grew up near Munich and these mountains were my stomping ground for many years. Great memories. Cheers. Guido
Well, I didn't winter summit. Though the consolation was the great German / Austrian food. Nearby Pertisau is to be recommended.
In fact, one of my favorite places in the mountains. I am glad you liked the food... Cheers.
