I just finished my third or fourth trip to the summit in winter. Such a great mountain! We had fresh powder snow and broke the first half of the trail. Excellent day in a winter with too little snow overall...

Great weather and great snow, hiked up from Haggen and skied down those beautiful north slopes

3 hours 45 minutes, not much snow - no danger of avalanches

classic ski tour from Haggen
rahter late in the season I had to carry ski the first hour. Snow wasn't the best so I have to repeat that one sometimes.
Hiked up from Haggen to the glacier and further to the summit. During descent we where quite bombed by rockfall from Rotgrubenspitze which made us hurry. Splendid views despite of the misty weather and a beautiful trip.
Have to come back some day in winter with skies. Must be an incredible trip...
