Great cold weather lamp4 SuperBright LEDs and 1 Bright Xenon bulb provide a variety of lighting options. The LEDs last long and provide good light for most duties, when more distance is needed you can switch the Xenon bulb and more than double the range.
The hinged battery cover is equipped with a screw that does not fall out and can be used with thin gloves. No need to worry about losing the screw or cover in the snow. The power button on the lamp can also be used with a glove and has a 90 degree adjustable range to direct light to where it is needed the most. It weighs in at 8 oz, but with the remote battery pack that weight is not on your head, unlike several lamps that weigh the same with headband battery packs. A must have lamp if you consitently hike in the dark in the cold!
