Do you know of anything interesting near Wroclaw ?

Hi !
Here I am
Wroclaw lies in a flat area but the Sudetes mountains are couple of hours driving about 100km south. These are old round-shaped mountain covered with forests, but they own the rockclimbing spots Kamil mentioned. I climbed there couple of times but if you wish to go with someone I can introduce you with the folks of the WKW, the local club, they go every week-end (I mostly mountainbike in this region, this is the perfect activity).
As for hiking, the Karkonosze (highest mountains of the Sudetes) are the best place to try first. You can also give Snieznik a try, a bit further east. Will you be motorized ? These places are reachable too by public transports but a car is better.
Further than the Sudetes, some 5h driving you've got the High Tatras, real mountains in the proper sense of the word, you'll find peaks like in the Alps. Thanks to the A4 motorway to Krakow It's possible to go for 2 days if leaving on a Friday night and returning Sunday, but this kind of trip is exhausting and it's better to use a 3rd day. November 11th long week end can be an opportunity to visit them for example.
And If you're in Wroclaw and have no idea what to do I can share a beer of two with you too
