It's not a bad page. I think some of the low scores predate changes the owner made, and never got updated.

But . . . . the owner has obviously not logged in for three years.

I'm curious, what needs updating?

Ok, I will mention some of the things I consider important:

- there is a refuge now in the col below the summit ridge; very important, especially for winter ascents
- the most direct marked route to the summit (coming from N) is not mentioned
- Moldoveanu summit ridge connects it to another high peak, his twin brother - Vistea Mare - not mentioned; the long northern ridge that starts here has a name and represents a classic alpine route; other alpine routes from the area can be mentioned
- avalanche forecast and weather sites are missing; mountain rescue points are not mentioned
- Getting There section is very basic
- and finally, the blue hut and the red hut have names; and websites with additional info

When the writer hasn't logged in for three years, lots of things can need updating, and generally the page needs renovating.

Not a bad page, but not much more than a TR. It might have been good enough until people from the closer area did not show up on SP, but that's changed and I bet mibu could add a lot of useful and up-to-date info to this page. 3 years since last login, plus an additional 5 without any update - pretty convincing signs of the page having been abandoned.

I like that answer. I hope the elves will sign the adoption papers.

Ditto.

I'm not much interested in peaks like this as I've seen them on paper, glossy photo quality, or screen many a time. But talking of how they should be presented on SP, I'd like to point out that for EC European people, not to mention the Romanian people, Moldoveanu is an equivalent to, say, this great summit and deserves a similar page in terms of quality.

I don't see a 1/10 vote there. I guess someone already got it.

That's war, Gangolf. You just told a cowboy boot-wearing American that you're faster on the draw than he is. I'll see you at high noon.

You are just a liar, Bob. You don't wear cowboy boots. You trod on Dragon's tail and triggered a dragonfly effect, thus awaking the ancient Carpathian creature.

Thanks for the ownership. The page is now updated. What should happen with the bad votes (5/10) for the old page? The 2 users did not log in for years..
Also please delete my vote for this page.

Bob,

I pm the owner of Lanin volcano page about it since he didn't logged in the page since march 2010. The info is very poor right now and i could improve the page to something quite better.
So, i ask him about give me page and he finaly went online (probably because of the feature about recieving an email everytime someone sends you a pm working for quite some time now) and gave me the answer "take it". That's it hehehe, pure and simple.
I guess that proves that he don't have any intention of keep up with sp anymore. And because of poor info the page has a some really bad votes.
So, if you find some time inbetween everything else going on, could you pass me the page so i can work on it next week?

The volcano page: http://www.summitpost.org/volcan-nevado-lanin/151038

Cheers
