Unfurnished 2 + 2 ground floor apt in a four-plex with good freeway access, close to the climbing gym, Red Rocks and Mt. Charleston. It's true this location used to be the "hood", but recent persistent sweeps by L.V. Metro has cleaned the neighborhood up a lot. It's just friendly working class folks now. In fact it is the friendliest neighborhood I have lived in Las Vegas. Good freeway access for trips to Red Rocks, Mt. Charleston, even Utah.
The unit I live in had a kitchen fire from the previous tenant. The landlord took the insurance money to undertake a complete renovation, but was required to bring the entire apartment up to current code. So new wiring, new carpet, European style cabinets, paint, new doors, new appliances, new A/C unit, new washer/dryer in apt, fireplace, approx. 973 Sq. Ft. the monthly rent is $600 and I estimate utilities at about $120.00 I want to split the cost 50/50.
I work from my desktop trading options in the stock market. Usually trading mornings from 5:45 to 9:00 A.M. - sometimes till 1:00 P.M. Rest of the time I am climbing, hanging out and training at the Red Rocks Climbing Gym or pursuing some other outdoor activity.
There is a workout corner in the living room: perfect pull-up, free weights, hang-board, small climbing wall. I've been climbing over 35 years, was a professional climbing guide at one point, develop a fair bit these days, pretty laid back.. If you are thinking about hanging at Red Rocks for any length of time this is less than a campground fee and has it's own bathroom and internet.
Your first month's rent share must be a money order or certified check for $400. We will adjust from there depending on the utilities charges. You don't have to rent the whole month though that is preferred. Cable internet is included. General use of course of the common areas and separate bathrooms. The apartment share is available now.
Far as habits: I'm quiet. I eat a generally a healthy diet. My level of cleanliness is best described as clean....counters are clean and the place gets regular vacuuming. I sometimes have overnight guests. I party very rarely.
I do have a cat. The apartment building is located at Between Jones and Torrey Pines off Lake Mead Ave.
I am looking for preferably, a fellow rock-climber who is moderately quiet, neat and responsible to 1/2 share of rent and utilities. No smoking. No dogs: there just isn't room. Aside from studying trading I am planning several road trips.
