Good luck! I can honestly say I despise that mountain. You can read about my misfortunes on my website.

Feel free to get in touch with me if you you need more feedback. My four attempts taught me two lessons: 1) be off the summit by 10 am and 2) stay on the trail. Also, you may encounter quite a bit of snow this early in the year. My first attempt was in late May, and there were few feet of snow on the mountain, including debris from a recent avalanche. The ridgeline leading to the summit is fairly narrow, and contains few boulder fields that need to be circumnavigated. This could be problematic enough if there is snow/ice to require a belay.

Thanks for the advise Lubos, I will keep that in mind especially now that is being snowing a lot. I will get extra gear for the unexpected. let you know how I make it.

Is someone out there who could give me any recent news about Mount Washington, I have plans to go up in February. Also, any trail pictures would be great!
