Description

Hi, I'll be heading up to the Rockies to do some climbing in August 2006. I'm tired of boring slogs, so I'll be looking to do something on Mt. Diadem (Humble Horse), or Columbia (North Ridge?). Route descriptions can be found in Sean Dougherty's book.

Here in the Cascades, I've done Coleman Headwall on Baker (simulsolo), Liberty Ridge on Rainier (simulsolo), and the North Face of Mt. Hood (WI3). In the Rockies, I've climbed the left side of Weeping Wall (WI4), and Guiness Gully (WI4). I've lead some dead-vertical stuff at Haffner Creek, but I'll admit, it was strenous. Not trying to BS anyone, here, just to let you know.

I've lead moderate trad at Smith (5.7-5.8), and plan to do much more before heading anywhere for a big trip. I also plan on getting some more aid and dry tooling under my belt before heading up. I'm a safe climber, and I will bail before I'm in over my head. At the same time, I feel it's time to break down some barriers.

Chad A.Well, hey there...

Chad A.

Sorry, I don't check this site much. I do have a partner lined up, but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't like to meet you. Where do your folks reside? Feel free to send me an email; obviously, this website doesn't notify me when messages are posted;)

Cheers,
Chad
