Description

Looking for partners or to join other parties for intermediate climbs in Oregon/Washington in Spring/Summer 2007. Open for early spring conditioning hikes in the Columbia Gorge, modest glacier climbs late Spring/Early Summer - (Hood, Baker, Shuksan, Mt. Washington, Broken Top), and more serious climbs mid-summer (Jefferson, Rainier, North Sister, Glacier, Garibaldi)

I have intermediate skills and look for partners with the same for the more serious climbs. I climb with safety first, at a measured pace, yet with a clear summit focus. Open for helping somewhat newbies on the easier climbs that I would otherwise solo.

Hey Joe, I haven't talked to you since we climbed Rainier together. A friend of mine and I are thinking about trying to climb Mt Hood on the 16th and 17th of March. It will be a two day trip. Let me know if you are interested.

I'm in Portland too and would be interested in some climbs this summer. I'm pretty experienced and have been up most of the mtns you listed, but wouldn't mind going back to some (and especially Shuksan and Garibaldi, which I haven't been up). Also interested in the North Cascades of Washington and the Wallowas. Send me a message, maybe we can get out for a gorge hike.

Hey there. So, I'm based in Eugene, and I would be interested in doing some of these climbs. Some I have already done - Hood, Shuksan, Broken Top, etc. But I really don't mind doing the same routes again. My main list this year is Washington, Mid. Sis and Jeff in Oregon, Rainier, Baker and Glacier Peak in Wash., but again, I'm pretty much up for anything, as long as I'm climbing.

I'm definitely interested in climbing Hood & Baker in early spring. I have intermediate experience--I've climbed Rainier three times, Adams, and Denali though I tend to stick to the standard routes.

If you're planning heading up Baker or Hood ~April 1, please let me know.
