Hi, I'm looking for experienced climbing partners to head to the Cascades. I'm a graduate student at the UW, I've been in Seattle for a year and a half. I've been climbing for about 12 years, I've lead a few trad pitches of 5.9, lots of 5.8 and below, and am comfortable swinging leads on longer routes. My general mountaineering skills are passable, but in this area there's always room to learn. I have glacier travel skills and am WFR certified. In the summer I'd be looking to do alpine routes like Dome Peak, Forbidden, or Prusik, in the winter I'm happy to get on top of volcanoes or do moderate mixed/glacier travel routes like Eldorado or Sahale. Really I just like to get high in the mountains and off the beaten trail. Weather has been fantastic this winter and I've gotten some decent climbing in, I'm looking forward to the mountains really opening up in spring and summer. My schedule is flexible, I can occasionally head out in the middle of the week to hit a weather window.
