| Hi Eugen, I will be in that part of WY starting around Jul 15. Will be off-trail hiking in the Winds, always wanted to climb Gannett so I am interested. I've done rock, ice, alpine & wall climbing. Let me know if you are still looking for partners. Hannah | Posted Mar 29, 2014 11:04 pm |

| Greetings, Hannah,
Sorry for the response delay. I just arrived from the north part of the Death Valley where I spent more than a week in a horrible weather shooting a video. I still need to decide with dates for this travel, yet I plan to be in the mountains 7-9 days for better exploration of that area. Currently my desirable route is following: Island Lake- Titcomb lake – Bonney pass – Mt Gannett – Blaurock pass – Indian pass – back to Island lake. Variation is to climb Fremont peak from the East. However I am open for changes. My main goal is to see as much as I can during these days and to shoot a dissent video. I will figure out regarding dates in a week. Thank you, Eugen

| Eugen --
I was planning on climbing Gannet Peak on July 28 or 29 as part of a 5-6 day out and back using the Glacier Trail approach near Dubois. I wanted to start out at the Glacier Trail trailhead on that Saturday, July 26 and get to base camp at Dinwoody Glacier by that Sunday evening. I have rock climbing, ice, and alpine experience along with equipment for snow and glacier travel, including crampons, rope, and protection.
Please let me know if you're interested in climbing around that time. Thanks in advance for getting back to me.

| Eugen,
I am very interested in joining with you on your proposed climb of Gannett Peak, along with your mentioned exploration of the surrounding area of the Wind Rivers. The time-frame that I have available to go on the trip is open and flexible. I look forward to further communication with you and the finalizing of the details.
Skål,
