Getting started, looking for partners.

I am looking to get deeper into mountaineering and would like to find people to climb some mountains with.
I am pretty decent shape and getting fitter. I hike roughly 20 miles a week, cycle 100+ miles a week.
For experience, I rockclimbed in the late 80's to early 90's (probably 5.8? or so. I have taken Basic Mountaineering I and II on Shasta (no summit, just classes on the snow) and 4 years in the Marine Corps Infantry where besides survival skills and brutal 100 pound pack carries, I learned to suck it up and enjoy the misery/pain.

Oh, and I read "Freedom of the Hills" nighlty and my mountaineering book collection dwarfs any bookstore :)

I live on the Delta between the East Bay and Sacramento, and I am a teacher, so mass time off in the summer and holidays.
