Glacier National Park early September

Looking for partner or small party for Glacier National Park early September. Climbing window is 06 through 13 September . Targets are the western 10,000 peaks - Kintla or Stimson. You should be a strong backpacker / camper / class 4 scrambler with appropriate Rocky Mountain experience (Elks, San Juans, Wind Rivers, Tetons, Canadian Rockies). I dont see the need for a rope on these routes, maybe a can of pepper spray ! Me - 50 years young, very experienced, not as fast as I used to be but still holding my own in the backcountry. Currently living / working internationally, now making firm plans for my September vacations.

	Im not sure of my schedule yet, but me and a couple of friends are planning on bagging stimpson and siyeh and kintla, were thinking of saving cleavland and merritt for next summer. We dont have a whole lot of expierience, we just climbed mt Jackson last summer, but we would defenitely like to join you. 	I have a month off from mid-August to mid-Sept. and was interested in getting up some peaks in GNP. I summited Merritt last summer and am interested in Cleveland, Jackson, Stimson, St. Nick... Very experienced and fit. Saw you made an attempt on Robson and am interested in climbing that peak too. email: kevin@premore.net

	Contacted Kevin, he seems keen. Anyone else interested ? Stimson /Kintla are a long ways from no where. Party of 3 or 4 would be ideal.

bergsheil	How many do you have?
	I may be free the 8th thru 14th. I have plans to do a backpack trip over the Swan Crest (Sawn Range) MT. However my partner might bail on me. Would love to join you in GNP for some scrambles. Where would you be on the 8th or 9th? I would have to meet up with you then. Cheers, bergsheil@gmail.com
