I will be hiking Mt. Baring on 08-21-10, and I am welcoming anyone who wishes to go. It is right next to the small town of Baring, WA, at the end of Barclay Lake TH. Please inform me if you are coming. This is a long, challenging hike/scramble to the top of a peak in which has a 4,000 ft. high cliff on one side, dropping down to a lake at its base, plus a panoramic view of that sector of the Cascades, including Everett and surrounding cities.
