I'd like to spend as many weekends as possible this winter/spring climbing water ice. Being based in the Bay Area, that means climbing at Lee Vining (where I've climbed before) and Salt Lake City (where I haven't climbed). I tend to start each ice season at WI2 and end at WI3+; this year I'm making ice climbing a priority and hope to quickly get comfortable to WI4 and then work into the higher grades.

Ideally I'd like to meet folks who are at a similar level of experience and ability. If you happen to have a weekend free from first week of January 2007 onward, send an email and let's set something up.
