Hello All.

I'm looking to see if anyone would be interested in a climb of Mount Blanc in August 2012. If anyone is (and I know this is a big longshot), it would be a plus if we could meetup first--I'm in Atlanta and could do some traveling to facilitate this.

I do not have any real climbing experience. My intention would be arrange with a guide in Chaminox that has a roughly 3 day course prior to the ascent attempt. From what I understand, this should be enough to get ready. In terms of conditioning, I am okay but still need to improve (I'd be reluctant to move up the August timeframe because I need to prepare). I completed a 20k hike last weekend, and have a 10k time of 55 minutes (I'm working to improve--I've started running/extended hiking 6 days a week).

If you aren't up for this but are in the Atlanta area and would want to tackle something in the area, also let me know.
