I am looking for partners to do Matterhorn in early Sept. I might be interested in Eiger if time allows.
Anybody else heading to the Alps?

| Hi
I live ein Switzerland and would like to do the Matterhorn as well as the Eiger. My mountaineering skills are upper intermidiate and my physical condition high. Just came back from a Peru trip to the Cordillera Blanca.
If you can imagine yourself climbing the Matterhorn together, let me know,

estienn | Matterhorn is tough, I like it. | |
| Matterhorn is a great objective. I might be in the area on the second week of September. My first goal is crossing Piz Bernina range, a bit further East (I am also looking for some buddies for that one). The very best would be to make it to Matterhorn on the same trip. Plus next year they will close down the refuge (Hörnly) for work, will make the ascent from Swiss side a bit more of a hassle...
But to be honest, we attempted it with a friend earlier this summer, and had to stop, after getting lost too many times. IT is good to follow some people who know.
Let me know if anything is up, I am more than happy to try it again. | Posted Aug 7, 2013 1:47 pm |

| We are climbing some peaks in Austria from 31 August. Would like join you for Matterhorn If planning fits.
I did Dufourspitze last year and Matterhorn was always in sight, beautiful mountain to add to the list.
Let me know if you are leaving and still looking for partners. | Posted Aug 18, 2013 4:22 am |
