Hello,

I an making plans to go to cerro Mercedario area around X-mas/NY (Dec.20 - Jan.11), with the idea of acclimatizing by a relatively easy route on Cerro Mercedario (over 10 days or so), then descending to Valle Colorado and attempting Pico Polacos north face. Would you be interested?

I am a rock/ice climber and mountaineer (in addition to being a chemist professionally), 40 years old. Climb for a fairly long time (since 1990's), primarily in Russia in my early years, and in the USA now; have been to Chineese Pamir (near Kongur/ Muztaghata) in 2009. Have climbed Salathe wall on El Capitan in Yosemite this summer... Have been trained by AMGA (rock instructor) in 2011.
