SO CAL

Looking to do the Mountaineer's Route on Whitney. Leaving Friday Night (11/6) and getting back Sunday. I get up early, and set a healthy pace. I'll drive.

jddeetz	Looking to do Whitney...
	I would def be down for doing Whitney if the weather permits around that time... I have no idea what the temps will be but in November it has got to be pretty cold. A little about me: intermediate hiker, very beginner climber. Fitness shouldn't be an issue. From what I understand, the mountaineers route is a class 3 climb with some parts where an ice axe is recommended. I can def do an extended class 3 route, but if you are looking to do some of the class 5's in that area like cardiovascular seizure, then I am def not your guy. I'd be a fan of mountaineers route going up, and using the trail for descent and also to pick up Mt. Muir.
