Hi,
I was a climbing friend of Luke Gullberg, who, along with 2 others, was killed on Mt. Hood in December '09.
I've been wanting to climb Mt. Hood, via Leuthold's coulior, as a tribute to Luke, Katie and Anthony.
I've climbed Hood 3 times before, all via the Old Chute route. I'm looking to get away from the masses and sorta follow Luke's route up the mountain.
I'm sorta aiming for May 1, if weather and conditions cooperate.
A little about me. I'm in my 40s, so I'm not as fast as I used to be. But I hope I've gotten smarter as I've gotten older. I've climbed several peaks, and have glacier experience. Last year's highlight was standing on the top of Kilimanjaro.
