Description
I am planning on getting into mountaineering on this trip. I am beginning with some skiing at Mt Bachelor and while i am there I will boot pack it to the top and ski off. The next mountain is Mt Hood, where I will be doing the two-day summit program with my father. After that I am looking at moving north and climbing Mt St Helens and Mt Adams. The culmination of the two plus week trip will be skiing at Blackcomb-Whistler and getting to go to the opening weekend of the Telus ski and snowboard festival.
Tentative timelines...
April 1 - 2 -- Mt Bachelor, Oregon
April 4 - 5 -- Mt Hood, Oregon
April 7 -- Mt St Helens, Washington
April 9 - 10 -- Mt Adams, Washington
April 11 - 12 -- Skiing in Washington (Snoqualmie maybe)
April 13 - 16 -- Telus Ski and Snowboard Festival, BC
Any ideas or thoughts on other good possibilities i am all ears!

| The road to the Mt. Adams trailhead likely won't be open in April without a long ski in. Sounds like a great trip though! | Posted Mar 2, 2007 6:13 am |
