Description
hey everybody, I'm 16 and live in LA. I was just trying to figure out if anybody would be interested in doing some climbing in the sierras. I got some info on a few of the alpine ice routes (humphreys, mendel, palisades etc) and they sound like awesome objectives, although they dont come in till later. also interested in going over to lee vining (if the ice ever comes in). I also had ideas about doing the mountaineers route on whitney
I have a good amount of experience in all aspects of climbing, from ice, to peaks, to rock. most of my ice exp. has come from climbing up in montana, but given that I dont know anybody who ice climbs in SoCal, I dont have to much experience in the area
i've climbed up to WI5 and led up to 5.8 trad. in terms of sport climbing and bouldering, I've climbed 5.12b in a gym and bouldered v6 outside
I've also climbed shasta, granite peak (highest point in montana, 12,799), and beehive peak (10,742, also in montana)
i climb at rockreation on the westside
