I'm an intemediate level alpine climber. a get-up-and-get-going type on hikes & bike tours. looking to get back on the rock (trad) but after a 15 year hiatus, I may be lucky not to do a faceplant while tieing in. won't mind top-roping sport climbs either because, frankly, I need the practice. don't mind teaching, but hoping to also tie in with someone who can pass along some new skills, especially in the alpine environment.

I often go the the Kita Alps region during Golden Week (spring) and Obonyasumi (summer) and ocassionally snowshoeing. Bicycle tours any time of the year unless there's snow or ice on the roads. I'm here longterm in the Kobe/Osaka area, so feel free to contact me anytime:
