Description

Need partners for Mt. Rainier and or some other peaks this September, for 2-4 day climbs, easy to moderate routes. Mt. Shuksan or some other peak would be a nice addition after or before Rainier if some would like to do it.
Will accept partners with advanced beginner skills and some type of crevasse rescue training before.
People with higher skills who wants to do some easy climb and play with snow, ice and crevasses, are more than welcome too.
Hope you will join us on a team for Sep 6-11 climb. (change from Sep 7-14)

As of now we have a small team and definitively going on Rainier, plus one other mountain in cascades, Shuksan, Eldorado, or Baker are in mind, or south on Mt. Adams, weather dependent and we will adjust as needed.
If somebody would like to join us, for whole trip, or just one mountain, let me know, but don't wait till last minute, we might be already there.
Larger team will be more fun, while we plan on playing a little, up our skills with crevasse rescue, rapping, belaying, rope and ice climbing, whole nine yards and of course get great picks.

We are driving rental from California, SF area on Sep5, for early start on Sep6 and back to SF on Sep11, so if you are on a way up there, we can pick you up.
We will camp at Muir and take DC route, but if very good weather ahead of us, we might opt for Kautz. 3-4days.
On our way down to Paradises, upon weather, team members preference and timing, decision will be made, what other Mt. we will go to and climb. 1-3days.
If you posses theoretical knowledge on crevasse rescue techniques, have some practice climbing rope and good cramponing, then it's OK, we will practice for a day before summit.
Afraid getting in to crevasse?, no problem, no one will force you to it, until you fall in to one.?!?!, but you will miss on great photo opportunity.
