Description

Hey!

So I have been climbing indoors for years and used to work at the Class 5 touchstone gym in Marin before it closed. I am a student at cal now and work as a kayak/backpacking instructor on the side. I have the summer totally free and want to hit the granite!

I am looking for a partner around my age who would be willing to lead some climbs for me and possibly teach me some stuff about leading and setting anchors. I am more than willing to pay for the gas or trade you some food/be your gear donkey.

I have experience following trad leads in Yosemite (central pillar, daff dome in Tuolomne, jam crack, etc) and can follow around a 5.8-9 trad, about a 5.10a, b sport.

I have a gorgeous new two-tone 60m 10.2 rope, a truck, and all the camping gear you would ever need. plus i have my wfr so just in case, i can deal with the injuries :)

Come on people, help a girl out!

lets meet up at a gym first but hit up lovers leap, the valley, castle rock, mt tam, indian creek, jtree, ANYTHING soon

I started climbing in the gym about six months ago, been going on and off. Just had my first trip to some real rock, a 5.6-7 multi-pitch with a guide. Was totally awesome and I'm stoked to get out again.

I'm climbing 5.10ish at Planet Granite in SF, probably a little easier than you are doing, but its all about having a good time right?

Heading out to Yosemite for memorial day weekend, but I'm free the following weekend for a day climb at castle rock or mt tam. Not super interested in the gym (since I'm in SF) but happy to meet up prior to make sure you're not a harpy.

I'm fairly new to the area and my closest good partner is in LA so it's hard to make that work. I want to hit up some of the Tahoe stuff, Lover's leap in particularly. I lead probably 5.9 trad, low .11 sport and really only boulder when I'm at the gym.

I'm in Vacaville, we could meet at the gym in Concord sometime to feel it out, but I want to get up to the Leap ASAP! Look at Surrealistic Pillar (.7) into either Traveler's buttress (.9) or Corrugation corner (more .7). Climbs the entire leap, 6 or so pitches, reasonable difficulty... I can lead the whole thing, show you anchors and schtuff, have all gear and am safe and experienced.

I lived in Colorado for 4 years, that's where I picked up climbing and have done RMNP, the Black, Lumpy, Turkey, Eldo, Moab, the Creek, Zion... I get around.
