Is anyone interested in climbing Split Mountain this summer? I prefer to do it as a day hike, moving lighter and faster. I am fairly open to the date, but September is preferred.

I am thinking the Northwest ridge, western approach, sounds good.

	would be interested in doing split and other 14ers but would rather do them in august. hoping to be in asia in september.

		Hey RMS, I am going to be in Washington climbing Rainier in August, the only thing that might work would be a suicide weekend turn-around Aug 4-5.

	Unfortunately, if you don't sign-in and check for postings, you never know you have any (Instead of having it automatically email you when someone posts.)....anyway, no I still have yet to climb Split Mountain. I am still trying to figure out the best way, or any way for that matter, of getting to the trailhead up the road that leads to it. If anyone is interested, or can offer advice, please let me know.
