I'm flying from SFO to DEN and have reserved a mid-size SUV from August 6-13, 2013. I'm looking for summit buddy(s) for a 1-day CO 14er summit while I'm in town. I'm presently doing some beta on the logistics/permits (?) required for Elbert and Longs Peak, but would be interested in hearing your suggestions from those more experienced! This would be my first CO 14er summit attempt, but I have some fair experience with Class 2-3 summits in CA--see my profile for my mountain experience. While I'm in CO, my initial plans are to also visit some National Parks (Mesa Verde NP, Dinosaur NM, Rocky Mountain NP). I'm also interested in sharing driving/costs as well. Message me if interested!
