Hello,

I will be arriving in Bishkek on the 10th May 2014, and will be in Kyrgyzstan until the 20th June, when I met a friend in Dushanbe and undertake some trekking in the Fann mountains of north-west Tajikistan, and the Pamirs and Hindi Kush of southern Tajikistan and Afghanistan's Wakhan corridor.
Having recently completed a basic mountaineering course in India (NIM), I am looking to really begin a climbing and mountaineering hobby in earnest. Beyond this, I have some experience of high altitude trekking across Nepal (Annapurna, Langtang) and India (Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Ladakh), and a little climbing experience, though not much.
So I am currently looking for partners to climb in Kyrgyzstan, in the Ala Archa national park, the Terskey Alatau, as well as other regions if possible. Looking for rock climbers, as well as mountaineers, of a beginner level.
Also if it looks tricky to find partners of the required level, I would be interested in joining up with some more experienced climbers on acclimatisation treks and peaks for their bigger plans, if this is possible.
Possible plans so far include some of the easier southern routes up the Korona Peak's second spire (Ala Archa).
